Battery

Batteries are devices that convert chemical energy into electrical energy. They are composed of one or more cells, which consist of an anode (negative electrode), a cathode (positive electrode), and an electrolyte (chemical medium). When the battery is connected to a circuit, a chemical reaction takes place within the cell, causing electrons to flow from the anode to the cathode through the circuit, producing electrical energy.
